This site is dedicated to the limited edition Peugeot 205 STDT model, produced between 1993 and 1994 and registered with ‘L’ prefix number plates.

The STDT was produced as a highly specified model combining elements of luxury, style and performance, whilst maintaining the excelent economy achieved by the proven 76hp XUD7 T/K Diesel engine used in many other PSA applications. Utilising a bodyshell and suspension setup based apon the Gti models, the STDT presented itself clearly as a sporting model which in reality proved to be a Diesel alternative to the much loved petrol Gti.

The XUD7 had a displacement of 1.8 L (1769 cc), with a bore of 80 mm (3.1 in) and a stroke of 88 mm (3.5 in).
