How many STDTs currently registered?

Hello and welcome to the 205 STDT site! This site is dedicated to the limited edition Peugeot 205 STDT model, produced between 1993 and 1994 and registered with ‘L’ prefix number plates.

The STDT was produced as a highly specified model combining elements of luxury, style and performance, whilst maintaining the excelent economy achieved by the proven 76hp XUD7 T/K Diesel engine used in many other PSA applications. Utilising a bodyshell and suspension setup based apon the Gti models, the STDT presented itself clearly as a sporting model which in reality proved to be a Diesel alternative to the much loved petrol Gti.

The XUD7 had a displacement of 1.8 L (1769 cc), with a bore of 80 mm (3.1 in) and a stroke of 88 mm (3.5 in).
